Charlie Haffner Memorial Range

In 1953, Charlie Haffner opened his gun range to the general public. Charlie envisioned a place where everyone could come and enjoy target shooting in a safe, comfortable environment. Over half a century later, his vision lives on.

Charlie's contributions to the pistol world will not be forgotten. He was instrumental in the vision, direction and evolution of the NMLRA, where he is a Hall of Fame member. He is listed as the NMLRA's first Distinguished Master.

The range's tradition has remained in the hands of family members since its inception. Charlie Haffner Sr. passed away July 18, 2006. Charlie Haffner Jr. now runs the range.

The range is situated in the rolling hills of Williamson County Tennessee, just south of Franklin. It is the county’s oldest active gun range.
